The BritishAmerican Business Annual Conference took place in London on 28 June. Attended by over 200 senior-level executives engaged in transatlantic business, the conference was a huge success.
The conference theme was 'The US & EU: Addressing the Challenges of Global Competition’ and delegates heard from a range of first-rate speakers with key note presentations from Joaquin Almunia, Ambassador William E. Kennard and Stuart Gulliver. Panel sessions covered subjects on staying competitive on taxes, regulations and how to attract inward investment, staying competitive in the global financial and insurance markets, strengthening and developing high-end manufacturing and advanced technologies, competition for the emerging energy markets and sustaining global leadership in media and telecommunications.
