Alison Hook

Alison Hook is a consultant and commentator on the globalisation of the legal market. She provides advice to regulators, law firms and other player in the legal sector on the changing international legal market place and how to respond to it through her company Global Legal Market Consulting. She has previously worked as Head of International at the Law Society of England and Wales, as a senior official at the European Commission and advisor to Trade Commissioner Sir Leon Brittan, and as a diplomat and economist in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. She is an economist by training.
